12,000 sign up for Al Shamil in three weeks

Dubai: More than 12,000 people have signed up for the Al Shamil broadband internet service in less than three weeks etisalat said yesterday said.

“The one year contract option gives customers a broadband experience in a secure environment with savings of up to Dh549 with free installation and waiver of the first month’s fee.”

The offer on Al Shamil broadband service also gives customers the option to have wired or wireless modems which are also available on attractive installment facilities with installments as low as Dh9 per month for the wired modem and Dh20 per month for the wireless modem.

The opportunity for families to experience the convenience and high access speeds of broadband to surf the net, download movies, play games, stream music and for home networking is now close at hand for consumers.

Eisa Al Haddad, etisalat’s chief marketing officer, said: “We are very happy to see the enthusiastic response from our customers and this clearly indicates that we are on the right track in satisfying their demands for comprehensive and affordable broadband packages with various options to suit their usage levels backed by value added features.”

The Al Shamil service includes standard value added free features with enhanced storage, Norton Anti Virus, Norton Personal Firewall, email Anti Virus and Anti Spam Plus to provide users with a more secure and protected online environment.
